Qbasis Invest uses two fully systematic trading strategies (MF Trend and MF Plus) to trade a comprehensive set of global futures markets (>90) across various market sectors including stocks, bonds, currencies, energies, metals and soft commodities.
MF Trend is a break-out trend following strategy that has the ability to recognise trends very early which leads to profits from long term as well short term trends. Intraday movements are captured by an additional strategy component called MF Trend High Frequency.
MF Plus, the second strategy used in the fund, is a swing reversal strategy that tries to capture profits in periods of sideway market movements and/or potential trend-reversals. It has a very low correlation to trend following strategies and is therefore an optimal addition or “plus” to the overall strategy.
Qbasis Invest offers these proprietary systematic strategies across a range of investment products, designed for both institutional and private investors. All of our strategies utilise exchange-traded futures which offer a high degree of liquidity and transparency.
Managed Accounts
For investors who require a very high level of transparency and ongoing reporting, both strategies (MF Trend, MF Plus) as well as the combination (MF Trend Plus) are available on a managed account basis.
The strategies can be customised to suit clients' requirements (varying levels of leverage or number of markets for example).
