Background
After experiencing stock market gains and consequent losses during the tech bubble of the late 90s and early 00s, Qbasis’ founder Florian Wagner dedicated two years to researching over 200 different systematic trading strategies. It was during this time that he identified and began working with highly respected system developer, Ziad Chahal. Together they co-developed one of our two proprietary trading systems; MF Plus.
Qbasis Fund Management was officially founded in 2005 by Florian Wagner and Philipp Pölzl and although the strategies have been utilised since 2003, it wasn’t until 2006 that the official track record commenced. The strategies have been applied without any changes since 2003 and have averaged c. 30% pa. Since 2006 Systrade Asset Management has been responsible for marketing the Qbasis products throughout Europe. Additionally Systrade is also responsible for trading advisory.
Encompassing nearly 10 years of research and development, Qbasis aims to become a world leader in Systematic Managed Futures.
