Florian Wagner

has over 10 years of experience trading financial futures and derivatives. It was during his medical studies at the Medizinische Universität Graz that he discovered that some of the signal processing mechanisms and neural structures in the human body could also be applicable to financial markets. In 2002, he founded a research team that evaluated more than 200 trading strategies from system development companies in Asia, Europe and the US. Since then he has been responsible for developing Qbasis‘ proprietary systematic trading strategies. In 2005 Mr. Wagner founded Qbasis Invest GmbH, where he serves as CEO. He serves as a lecturer and well-respected industry spokesperson at various industry conferences.

Philipp A. Pölzl

is a graduate of Karl-Franzens Universität Graz, Austria where he received master's degrees in law and finance. He also attended investment and portfolio management lectures at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. In 2005, Mr. Pölzl founded Qbasis Invest GmbH and is now responsible for legal and operational matters. Additionally, Mr Pölzl has been a guest lecturer on Alternative Investments at the Alpen-Adria-Universität in Klagenfurt since 2009 and is a court-certified industry expert.

Dr. Christian Sedlnitzky (Strategic Advisory)

served as a member of the Exective Board of Raffeisen insurance between 1985 an 2009, as part of a 100% subsidiary bank of UNIQA. From 1997 to the end of 2001, Dr. Sedlnitzky was also a member of the Management Board of UNIQA and their predecessor companies. Previously, he served as a deputy to the Chairman and CEO of Raiffeisen since 1986. Prior to his insurance career, from 1976 Dr. Sedlnitzky worked as a consultant and secreatary at the Austrian Federal Economic forum. After completing his PhD in Social and Economic Sciences in 1974, he served as Deputy Managing Director of the Styrian Economic Society.

Mag. Gerhard Massenbauer (Portfolio Manager)

is a trained lawyer, but has already worked on portfolio- and economic analysis since 1996. Since 1999, he has published currency- and capital market reports, which were also published in the Austrian National Library until 2018. Since 2015, in addition to his activity as an asset manager, which he has been practising independently from 1999 to 2018, he also advises export companies on their currency risks. Ultimately, he is also a court sworn expert for the monetary policies and currencies, as well as a book author (Nie wieder Zinsen, FBV, 2017).

Hannes Dolzer (Internal Audit)

completed his MBA in finance at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz. In addition, he successfully completed various seminars in financial advisory related areas. He is chairman of the Financial Services Division of the Economic Chamber of Austria and teaches both at the Chamber of Commerce and the WIFI.
